Ben Sawyer Bridge closed to heavy trucks, marine traffic disrupted following malfunction

The Ben Sawyer Bridge will be closed to heavy truck traffic and open during off-peak hours indefinitely as SCDOT works to fix an undisclosed mechanical issue, the agency said.
