TODAY: We stay warm with mid-to-high 70s along I-25 and even some 80s across the Plains. Tropical moisture continues to funnel into Colorado Thursday. Heavy mountain rainfall and flooding chances continue across the San Juans. We're tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms along and east of I-25. Winds pick up, with some 30-50 MPH gusts.
TOMORROW: Temps will be similar to Thursday. Gusty winds linger. Expect isolated showers and storms, with most of the action shifting east across the Plains.
EXTENDED: We cool from the 70s and 80s to the 50s and 60s in lower-lying areas this weekend, with another disturbance bringing more showers and storms. Snow level could drop as low as 8,000 feet Sunday morning, although accumulations don't seem likely for our local mountain towns in Teller County.
